I believe in the power of small, locally owned businesses to create better, more vibrant communities. Contributing to something that helps pets live their healthiest lives is very gratifying to me. Treating each pet like a VIP is definitely the funnest part of the job! Prior to devoting the last two decades serving pet owners in the grooming industry, I managed several pizza restaurants and owned a successful window cleaning company. Outside of work I love to travel, find gardening very therapeutic, and enjoy reading fiction and anything regarding pets, fitness, and nutrition. My wife and I run several half marathons every year and I’m confident I still have a few more full ones in me. On many of my runs, you will likely see me struggling to keep up with my fur buddies Oscar and Oliver - man those dogs love to run! Thank you for your interest, trusting Peticured with your pets, and your support of our small business.

Hello! My name is Tasha and I have experience working with animals for four years as a Vet Assistant prior to joining the Peticured team in January 2020. The best part of my day is getting kisses from your furry family member. I currently do not have any pets of my own. My baby girl, Coco, passed in 2022. I'm not quite ready to get my next fur baby but, I am the favorite aunt to Mandy's fur babies- Finn and Ellie. When I'm not working I enjoy traveling so if you have any suggestions let me know! I also love doing car stuff. There is nothing better than hitting the road on long rides with the windows down and music playing. It's an understatement to say that it breaks my heart to garage my girl "Gamora" over the winter!

My passions include animals (of course), music, dancing, reading, and spending time with my family. I am the mom of two awesome all black kitties named Ellie and Finn. I cannot wait to meet all your little bundles of joy and make them the happiest animals when they get off the table strutting their freshly Peticured nails!

Peticured is the brainchild of a passion for healthier pets, an entrepreneur's drive to create a business sparked by the demand for higher-caliber service, and an overwhelming desire to enjoy work! Hi, my name is Glenn Gosine and I am the owner of Peticured. I am the former owner of two Michigan self-serve and professional grooming facilities - "ShamPooches" and "Scrubbers"
At both ShamPooches and Scrubbers, it was daily business to greet new clients who sought a professional to shorten and maintain their pet's claws. Not every pet owner has the desire to perform that necessary task and so many confess to being rendered inert by the thought of doing it themselves. Since customers were paying for the service, they had expectations of quality and optimal results. They had come to the right place! Prior to opening my first shop, I discovered and mastered the four essentials required to execute an ideal pet nail trim: the anatomy of the claw, proficiency with the tool, the correct positioning of the pet, and compassionate confident handling. To this day, those same fundamentals are the warp and woof of every Peticured technician's excellence!
Throughout my decades as a small business owner, I have placed high priority in building a successful company based on returning customers. I've always aimed to get beaming smiles on new client faces by beating their expectations. I've been forever dogged and determined to consistently deliver the perfect nail results pet parents desired. I love helping, I adore the one-on-one interaction with each pet, and I am always delighted and gratified to hear customers exclaim, "Wow, I've never seen them that short!"
But something very significant happened over those years of service. I discovered that many of the "professionals" people entrusted to shorten their pet's claws weren't ponying up a decent quality procedure. I encountered this issue incessantly while operating both grooming shops. It became quite evident that a proper nail shortening technique was never taught to or learned by many of those providing the service. More unacceptable were those who didn't care enough to do a great job although they likely possessed reasonable skills. What I found most appalling though were the sub-par nail trim procedures that actually resulted in an advancing, longer quick. That's culpable action for a professional and insensitive to the poor pet in need of help!
True serendipity. It was through these observations that I saw a completely obvious opportunity to help and a business specializing in providing the highest quality nail shortening experience for dogs and cats was born! Peticured opened in 2016 to address the need for better pet nail care and promises to deliver that to every customer, new and returning. We've got your paw!
